The Mohegan Herd that hears what you say and helps heal your heart.

Power of Horses to Heal
Horses have the extraordinary ability to emotionally transform the lives of men, women and children, whether they are horse lovers, no experience with horses or suffering from deep psychological wounds. Horses are true, non-judgemental and in the moment totally with you – unconditional.

By sharing the company of a beautiful balanced horse we experience self-awareness and peace of mind that unfolds with a horse/human relationship.

We all know someone who needs help -  a war veteran with PTSD, a husband, a wife, a partner, a child, a friend, a misunderstood teenager, emotional pain or someone that has simply lost their way. Karen White will share her HERD with you so you can experience their magic.  What she calls ‘Being Heard by the HERD’

Horses are authentic and help ourselves, no matter our age, sex, or skin colour, look at our life’s struggles in a different perspective.  They allow relationships that demonstrate acceptance, leadership, kindness, honesty, tolerance, patience, compassion, and forgiveness. Horses help us be aware of our authentic self and become better people, that can help us to become better parents, experience more fulfilling relationships with each other.

Karen White has said for many years that horses have been her greatest teacher, they have no ego, they never lie and they are never wrong. We all just need to listen to what they are truly saying to help be better ‘communicators’ with clarity’. It is this amazing ‘power of horses to heal’ and teach, that has astounded Karen over her years of training and starting horses under saddle.

Karen White studied with Linda Kohanov ‘Power of the Herd” in Arizona 2013 and Karen completed her EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association)studies in 2010 NSW.  She now wants to share with all, these wonderful, naturally magical healing animals to help everyone as they have helped her over her years of painful experiences of life, death, divorce, depression, anxiety, and abuse.

May the horse be with you.

I am excited and proud to introduce to our Mohegan team of healing – Tania P.

Tania started upon her Spiritual journey in her early 40s which wasn’t something Tania chose but she was the gifted chosen one.
Tania says, ‘I started seeing spirits and having definite spiritual experiences.  This led me on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual discovery, reading, meditating and spending time in nature and other like-minded people and spending time with animals.  I know that my purpose in this life is to help others heal and to reconnect with their true Devine nature and to their creator”

At Mohegan we have introduced Tania’s MEDITATION class prior to riding every Friday at 9.30am. Enjoy a relaxing guided meditation before you’re riding session, it will help you connect with your horse on a spiritual level. - Becoming as ONE.   It will help you connect you with your authentic self! All you need to bring with you is a willingness to let go and breathe.

Two Horses
Author Unknown

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it.

From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse.

But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing....

Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him.

This alone is amazing. If you stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell.
Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field.

Attached to the horse's halter is a small bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is, so he can follow.

As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see that the horse with the bell is always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is, trusting that he will not be led astray.

When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, it stops occasionally and looks back, making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges.

He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need..

Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives.
Other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way....

Good friends are like that... You may not always see them, but you know they are always there..

Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours, and remember...

Be kinder than necessary - everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,
Love generously,
Care deeply,
Speak kindly.......

FOR WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT
